Kim is collecting the following items to use for VBS this summer: a large blue barrel test tubes and racks old adult size bike or skate helmets (will be painted and glued on) lab flasks fog machine wavy (non-rusty) sheet metal Volunteers needed for VBS program.

Program Details:
Vacation Bible School is for children who were 3 by 9/30/2007 through those who have completed the 5th grade. The preschool program will end at 8:00, so parents of preschoolers will need to arrive at that time. You are welcome to stay with your child for the closing, but after an action packed evening, we think it is best for the preschoolers to have their parents from 8:00-8:30.
 
Registration is FREE, however we are asking for a $5 donation to help offset the cost of the t-shirt all children will receive.

Enjoy a power-packed week
as children learn that
Jesus gives us the power to be thankful;
the power to help others;
the power to be brave;
the power to live forever;
and the power to tell others about God!
Each day the children will create an exciting crafts
such as slime and crazy bouncing balls.
The children will enjoyed power packed worship songs
and see amazing science experiments.
It is a week they will not forget!
Volunteers are still needed:
 
Art & Mission Coordinator - this person can either use the crafts suggested by the lessons or create crafts of their own
Greeter - this person would greet the children and their parents as they arrive each evening. If a new child arrives, this person would assign them to a crew
Preschool Assistants - Do you like working with 3-5 year old children? Then this is the area for you! Kelley Carter will be leading this group, but there are many ways to get involved!
Nursery Aides - two people are needed to work in the nursery for the leaders of those helping with VBS
Closing Scientist - a "scientist" is needed to perform some experiments and connect them to the lesson for the day. Script is provided.
Crew leaders - Sr. High students, college students and adults are all needed to help as a crew leader. Crew leaders are assigned a group of 5 children to lead them to their various stations and connect the activity to the story for the day. 6th - 8th grade students are needed to help with the preschool children
