Waynesboro area. Young children enjoy several hours of safe play time in the church nursery.

Schedule:

MMO follows the FPC Preschool schedule. If preschool is on break or closed for inclement weather, we do not offer MMO. MMO school year schedule begins the Tuesday after Labor Day and ends the Thursday before Memorial Day. MMO is offered in the summer. However… this is dependent on available caretakers and their schedules. Times and dates for Summer 2008 MMO will be posted in May. We try not to cancel MMO, but on occasion it becomes necessary. We make every attempt to give one week notice and/or block off the schedule in advance.

General & Safety Information:
We have a changing table, small refrigerator.
Parents need to bring a snack. Any bottles or sippy cups should be labeled with child’s name.
We ask parents to fill out a medical release form with contact information to be kept on file.
For the safety of your children, our caretakers are required to complete and pass background checks.

MMO was developed and continues to function as an outreach program for the community. All are welcome.

Church members also use this program.

MMO is not designed as full-time weekly daycare. You may sign your child up for more than one day a week but remember this program is set up to give moms and dads a break to do errands go to doctor appointments etc. Please communicate with the caretakers if you have specific dates or times you really need help with.

Participation:

You are encouraged to sign up one week in advance of using MMO.

This can be done two ways.

1. Call the church office 949-8366 and ask to sign up for Mother’s Morning Out. You will
need to provide your name, your child’s name and age and your phone number.

2. Come to the church office and sign up on the sheet on the Office manager’s desk.

MMO is currently $6 per child for the morning.

Children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.

We have a limit of 6 children total. If there is an infant 12 months or younger we only can safely take 5 children.

It is very important to call and let the church know if you are unable to bring your child as we can call others if there is waiting list and to let the caretaker know how many children to expect. You must call by 8 AM or you will expected to pay. There is an answering machine available. Please leave a message.
