| Glen
was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended the College
of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio, where he received a Bachelor of
Arts in Religion. Then, he studied at Gordon-Conwell Theological
Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts where he earned his
Master of Divinity. Glen was ordained in 1986, serving as a
hospital chaplain. He became a member of the College of Chaplains
(now Association of Professional Chaplains, Board Certified
chaplain) in 1989. In 1993, feeling God's call to ministry in
a congregational setting, he moved to United Presbyterian Church
in Sterling, Kansas. While there, Glen earned his Doctorate
of Ministry from Phillips Theological Seminary in Oklahoma,
focusing on Marriage and Family Counseling. In 2005, Glen once
again felt God calling him to a new ministry and is very excited
to be serving Him in the Shenandoah Valley as the Senior Pastor
at First Presbyterian Church.
Glen and
his wife Kim have three children ranging in ages from college
to 2nd grade. |
