Glen Holman

Glen was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Religion. Then, he studied at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts where he earned his Master of Divinity. Glen was ordained in 1986, serving as a hospital chaplain. He became a member of the College of Chaplains (now Association of Professional Chaplains, Board Certified chaplain) in 1989. In 1993, feeling God's call to ministry in a congregational setting, he moved to United Presbyterian Church in Sterling, Kansas. While there, Glen earned his Doctorate of Ministry from Phillips Theological Seminary in Oklahoma, focusing on Marriage and Family Counseling. In 2005, Glen once again felt God calling him to a new ministry and is very excited to be serving Him in the Shenandoah Valley as the Senior Pastor at First Presbyterian Church.

Glen and his wife Kim have three children ranging in ages from college to 2nd grade.
